It’s been a wet, wild & windy week in Donegal and across the country. Time to cheer ourselves up so I’m launching our (now) annual 12 Days of Christmas* competition. It’s mostly for fun but a small prize will be awarded to each day’s winner, as decided by the number of likes (or judge’s decision).
All entries must be submitted to our Facebook page or our email address.
*Other wintertime festivals are welcome.
Read on for all the details and rules.
There are 12 “tasks” - one for each day between 11 and 22 December. Each day’s task will be judged around 6pm, based on the number of likes/comments received. The winner will be announced on our Facebook page and then we will ask for entries for the next day’s task. All tasks are listed below to give you time to think about it. You can submit entries in advance but Facebook followers will be asked to give priority to that day’s task.

All entries should have a Christmas theme, or other winter festival (Hannukah, Diwali, Eid, Yule, etc.)

All entries must be submitted to our Facebook page or our email address (which we will then submit to Facebook on your behalf).

The entry with the most likes on our Facebook page by 6pm for that day’s task wins (in the event of a tie or exceptionally low number of votes, judge’s decision is final). Entries for other tasks can be submitted ahead of time but followers will be asked to give priority to voting for that day’s task.

The winner will be asked to email their postal address to Treasure Bin so that a prize can be sent. (Prizes have a retail value of between €2 and €10.)
